A PICTORIAL C-SECTION PERFORMED BY OUR VETERINARIAN
AND PHOTOGRAPHED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE OF YOU
WHO PLAN ON BREEDING QUALITY BOSTON TERRIERS
Below is a pictorial c-section. We, as breeders with experience, want you to
consider what it truly takes to have a successful litter of Boston Terriers. While we
all would love to have free whelped puppies, one thing we do know is that many of
our breed have problems at times with uterine inertia, or puppies too large to pass
the birth canal. Please, breeding our dogs is a serious undertaking which involves
a qualified experienced vet who knows how to perform a c-section.
Also beware of the use of anesthesia. We do not recommend the use of any
injectable drugs. Many of these drugs cause dementia, and do affect the pups at
times, especially of the vet is not quick at performing the section. The dementia that
is caused by injectable drugs, many times causes the mother to view the pups as
strangers, and have been known to attack and kill pups due to the affects of these
drugs. The drug of choice by us in isophlorine gas.
